Decompressing Warriors

With fierceness and rage [they] swallow the ground;
[they] cannot stand still at the sound of the trumpet.
The trumpet sounds, [they] say ‘Aha!’
[They] smell the battle from afar,
the thunder of the captains, and the shouting” (Job 39:24).

Mighty Warriors of the Summit are resting. They heed the sound of the trumpet sound and now lay in the bosom of rejuvenation. Summit Warriors reconnoiter and establish initiatives. They spring from sleep, for they smell the battle from afar. God clothes their manes and makes them leap like the locust. Their majestic stature terrifies. Summit Warriors thunder through the countryside, exulting strength in the Almighty, laughing at fear. They rush out to meet the enemy. Summit Warriors are never dismayed. These mighty soldiers carry the Sword of the Spirit and never shrink from their calling (inspiration from Job 39:19-22).

As Summit Warriors return home to rest and decompress (all speakers, organizers, and attendees), I encourage you to move forward with power and determination, with the sound of your Savior’s words echoing through your soul:

The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world (John 17: 22-25).

Welcome home, Summit Warriors…may the Holy Spirit keep you and spur you on to victory!
