He fought in Korea and came home to work for the Salt Lake City PD while taking college courses (and serving in the National Guard in some capacity as an intelligence guy). He then graduated from the University of Utah with a PhD, specializing in Criminal Justice and Religion. He taught at Cal State San Bernardino for over two decades. He was a tuff Marine!
