Antiochus IV enters,

Robs and burns

The City of David.

He pours boiled pig broth

Across the Torah,

The throne of God.

Yet Yudah ha Makkabi,

“Judah the Hammer,”

 Takes the city back.

“O Jerusalem,” Jesus weeps.
